Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

REMOVING AND INSTALLING POWER WINDOW REGULATOR IN FRONT DOOR

Remove front door trim panel. Service and Repair

Installation:
Adjust front door window. Adjustments




Lower the window.

Lift out retainers.

Push window glass out of ball heads and slide up.




Lift out microswitch.

Pull off plug.




Unscrew bolts.

Lift out complete window regulator




Installation:
If necessary, replace drilled out rivets with M 6 x 10 hexagon head screws, 6.4 washers and M 6 hexagon nuts.

Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lbs.).




Unscrew bolts.

Take off gearbox motor.
