Trouble Code 11 (Speed Signal N-Mot [TR])

SPEED SIGNAL n-mot (TR)
Explanation
This defect code is stored when the control unit receives no engine speed signal in a drive range (R, D, 3, 2, 1) at an accelerator pedal position greater than 12% and an output speed greater than 1000 rpm. The control unit can differentiate between the following types of defect:

- Break or short to ground
- Short to positive

Effect of Defect
Mechanical emergency program.

Possible Cause
Wires defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform status monitoring, check engine speed signal n-mot from Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit and Electronic Transmission Control (EGS) control unit.
