Trouble Code 100 (Gear Monitoring)

GEAR MONITORING
Explanation
This defect code is stored when a speed ratio n-ab to n-mot for the current gear is outside the permissible slip tolerance. Monitoring is only effective at engine speeds greater than 3500 rpm.

Effect of Defect
Mechanical emergency program.

Possible Cause
Electrically selected gear and hydraulically engaged gear do not agree. Disturbances in hydraulic shift unit. Solenoid valves connected incorrectly.

Troubleshooting
Check solenoid valves. Check hydraulic shift unit.
