5-Plug Relay Carrier, From 06.08

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Storage Compartments and Covers.

- Remove the footwell air channel on the driver side. Refer to Knee Airbag, Servicing in Removal and Installation (Driver Knee Airbag).

- Open the tab - 3 - with a screwdriver - 4 - and remove the 5-plug relay carrier - 2 - on the Vehicle electrical system control module (J519) - 1 -.






- Unclip fuse panel on relay carrier.

- Detach relays and control modules and then unclip appropriate relay carrier.

• Check the exact assignment of 5-pin relay carrier in the current wiring diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the footwell air channel on the driver side. Refer to Knee Airbag, Servicing in Removal and Installation (Driver Knee Airbag).

- Install driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Storage Compartments and Covers in.
