1 Front hood lock

• Removing and installing

• To adjust the hood, slide up or down.

2 Release cable for front hood lock

• Removing

• Cable, disconnecting at coupling => [ Disconnecting and Connecting ] Cable Coupling

- Disengage cable from bracket - 7 -.

- Pull cable through to engine compartment.

• Installation: in reverse order.

3 Foam tube

• Slid onto coupling

4 Cable coupling

• Disconnect cable here before removing lock carrier and release lever.

5 Grommet

• Ensure correct seating when installing.

6 Cable cover

• Slid onto panel edge.

7 Cable bracket

• Cable, disengaging => [ Removing ] Hood Release Lever

8 Hood lock release lever

• Release lever cover, removing => [ Removing ] Hood Release Lever Cover

9 Retaining clip

• Slid sideways onto body flange.

10 Clips

• Slid onto lock carrier from front
