Charge Air Cooler Overview

• The hose supports, air guide pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory. Refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

• To mount the charge hoses on their connectors securely, spray the bolts on the used clamps with rust remover before installing.

• If there are small impressions on the fins. Refer to => [ Coolers, Condensers and Charge Air Coolers ] Coolers, Condensers and Charge Air Coolers.

3 Charge Air Cooler

4 Charge Air Pipe

• Assembly of hose connections with connection couplings, refer to => [ Air Guide Pipes and Hoses with Connector Coupling ] Service and Repair

5 Bolt

• 10 Nm

6 Charge Air Hose

• Assembly of hose connections with connection couplings, refer to => [ Air Guide Pipes and Hoses with Connector Coupling ] Service and Repair

7 Hose Clamp

8 Charge Air Hose

• To throttle valve control module (J338)

9 Hose Clamp

10 Bolt

• 10 Nm

11 Charge Air Pipe

12 Hose Clamp

13 Charge Air Hose

• Assembly of hose connections with connection couplings, refer to => [ Air Guide Pipes and Hoses with Connector Coupling ] Service and Repair

14 Seal

• Replace

15 Charge Air Pressure Sensor (G31)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Charge Air Pressure Sensor (G31) ] Service and Repair
