Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

Removing

- Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Loosen screws and clamps - arrows - and remove charge air pipe and hose downward.






- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - from the throttle valve control module.






- Remove the four bolts - arrows - on the throttle valve control module and then remove the throttle valve control module.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Clean the sealing ring surface.

- Replace seal.

Tightening specifications: Intake manifold assembly overview, refer to => [ Intake Manifold Overview ] Intake Manifold Overview.

- The throttle valve control module must be adapted to the Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) after it is replaced. Use a vehicle diagnosis tester for this.
