Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzles






Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzles

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hose clamps up to 25 mm (3094)

Drip tray

Removing






- Remove the air intake grille.

- Open the cover - 7 - for the spray nozzle.

- Press down the tension springs - 4, 6 - with a flathead screwdriver to release the spray nozzle - 5 -.

- Remove the spray nozzle from the mount - 3 - towards the rear - arrow -.

- Clamp off the windshield washer fluid hose - 1 - with hose clamps (3094).






Lay a cloth under the point of separation to catch any washer fluid.

- Pull the release button - 1 - to remove the washer fluid hose - 2 -.






If the spray nozzle cannot be removed depending on the vehicle equipment level, then remove the corresponding headlamp housing. Remove headlamp housings.

Halogen Headlamps: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, from MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

HID Headlamps: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, after MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- The retaining springs - 3 - and - 4 - on the spray nozzle - 2 - can only engage audibly if the side guide - 1 - is seated correctly in the mount - 5 -.

- Install the air intake grille.
