Suspension Control Module: Testing and Inspection






Control Position, Programming using Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

During a test drive, the testing and measuring equipment must always be secured on the back seat.

These devices may be operated only by a passenger during a test drive.

- Connect Vehicle Diagnosis Tester with corresponding diagnostic cable to vehicle.

- Switch on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester.

The Vehicle Diagnosis Tester is ready for operation when the operating modes are displayed.

- Switch on ignition.

Requirements

The vehicle must be standing on an even surface.

The vehicle may not be loaded.

The electronic damping control module (J250) must be coded.

The DTC memory may not contain any vehicle level sensor DTC memory entries.

If control modules or electric/electronic components were replaced, then the components must be adapted under "Guided Functions".

- Touch Guided Functions and the screen.

Then:

- Select the corresponding program in "Guided Functions".

- Follow the prompts on the screen.

If the control position was programmed again on vehicles with lane assist, the directional stabilization assistance control module (J759) with integrated camera must be recalibrated. Refer to => [ Lane Assist Calibration Procedure ] Lane Assist Calibration Procedure.
