Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

High Mounted Brake Lamp Bulb (M25)

Removing






- Do not press the brake pedal.

- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - arrows -.

- Open the clips - 1 - and remove the mount - 2 -.






- Push the lamp - 3 - out of the flap - arrow -.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ High Mounted Brake Lamp Nut Tightening Sequence and Specification ] High Mount Brake and License Plate Lamp Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Entire high mounted brake lamp must be replaced in the event of faulty Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs).

- Install the rear lid trim panel..
