Right Footwell Vent

• From 01.2008, A/C units which have an additional connection for the glove compartment cooling are being installed. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment Cooling to Air Intake Manifold Connection ] Glove Compartment Cooling to Air Intake Manifold Connection. Make sure that the correct right heater core housing and air intake housing are installed. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

Removing

- Move the passenger seats as far back as possible.

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the glove compartment.

- Disconnect the harness connector - A - from the temperature sensor (only on the "Comfort" A/C system).






- Remove bolts - B -.

- Remove the right footwell vent - C -.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while observing the following.

- Switch on the ignition.

- Check the Climatronic Control Module (J255) DTC memory, and erase the malfunction displayed if necessary (only on the "Comfort" A/C system). Refer to the Vehicle diagnostic tester in "Guided Fault Finding".
