Front Muffler

Removing






- Remove the rear noise insulation - 2 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the front crossmember, if applicable.






- Remove the left front muffler nuts - arrows -.






- Remove the right front muffler nuts - arrows -.













The decoupling elements in the front muffler could be damaged.

• Do not bend decoupling element in front muffler more than 10°.

- Loosen the clamping sleeve - 1 or 2 -, slide it back and remove the corresponding front muffler.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Muffler Overview ] Muffler Overview.

• Replace the seals and self-locking nuts.

- Install exhaust system free of stress, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Removal and Replacement.

- Install the front crossmember and noise insulation.
