Sill Side Trim







Sill Side Trim

Removal and installation can be performed with the front seat installed.

Removing






- Bring seat as far up as possible.

- Remove backrest adjustment wheel. Refer to => [ Backrest Adjusting Wheel ] Backrest Adjusting Wheel.

- Remove seat height adjustment handle. Refer to => [ Seat Height Adjustment Handle ] Seat Height Adjustment Handle.

- Remove the expanding rivet - 2 - for the sill side trim - 1 -.

- Open the clips - 4 - (quantity: 2).






- Unclip trim - 1 - on retaining bracket - 3 -.

- Disengage trim in area of backrest adjustment wheel and seat anchor.

- Remove the trim forward and up from the retaining bracket - 3 -.

Make sure the bracket - 2 - and the tab - 2 - are not damaged when removing the trim.

- Vehicles with four-way lumbar support: Disconnect the connector - 4 - on the lumbar support adjustment switch - 1 -.






Ignore - 2 -.

- Vehicles with cabin heater: disconnect the connector on the cabin heater switch.

- Remove the trim on the sill side - 3 -.

Installing






Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Make sure the tab - 2 - is seated correctly.

Make sure the sill side trim - 1 - is engaged correctly on the retaining bracket - 3 - and the locking clips - 4 - are closed.

Make sure the wire is as close to the connector - 4 - as possible.
