Rear Lid Lock Cable

Removing






- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

- Remove the screws - 1 - and - 7 - and remove the lock cylinder anti-theft protection - 2 -.

- Unlock the lever - 6 - - arrow A - and remove the cable bracket - 3 - from the mount - arrow B -.

- Disengage the cable - 4 - from the actuator lever - 5 -.

- Unlock the clip - 1 - and remove the rear lid anti-theft protection - 5 -. Carefully lift the tab - 2 - - arrow - and unlock the clip - 3 - through the opening - 4 -.






- Remove the anti-theft protection.

- Remove the cable bracket - 6 - from the rear lid lock mount - 5 -.






- Disengage and remove the cable on the actuator lever - 4 -.

• Ignore - 1 to 3 -.

Installation

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Rear Lid Lock, Lock Cylinder and Grip Piece Overview ] Service and Repair.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the rear lid trim panel..
