Trailer Hitch: Service and Repair

Towing Recognition Control Module (J345)

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle diagnostic tester.

Removing

- Open the luggage compartment right side trim.






- Release retaining clips - arrow - and tilt the towing recognition control module - item 1 - out of the retaining frame.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 2 and 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
