Antenna Amplifiers 2 (R111) and Antenna Amplifier 3 (R112)

The antenna amplifier 2/antenna amplifier 3 are installed in the convertible top compartment cover.

Removing and installing is identical.

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the convertible top compartment cover trim.

- Remove the service flap.

- Working through the service flap, disconnect the connectors on the antenna amplifiers.

The antenna amplifier bracket must be removed first.

- Remove the bolts - 1, 3 and 4 - on the bracket - 2 -.






- Swivel the bracket - 2 - upward and forward.

- Disconnect the connectors to the antennas and the satellite antenna (R170) , if applicable.

- Remove the screw - 2 - from antenna amplifier 2 (R111) - 3 - and then remove antenna amplifier 2 - 3 - from the bracket - 1 -.






Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
