Tail Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

LED tail lamps have LED bulbs and are integrated in the tail lamps. The LEDs cannot be replaced; the entire tail lamp must be replaced.

Removing






- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into "0" position.

- Pry out cover cap with (3409) - arrow -.

- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel..

- Remove nuts - arrows -.






- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

- Remove the tail lamp - 1 -.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Wiring grommets - 2 - are seated correctly in their mount - 3 -.

• The self-adhesive seal - 1 - between the rear lid and the tail lamp housing must seal correctly.

- Tighten the nut on the tail lamp assembly in the following sequence: - 1, 2 and 3 -.






- Place the cap - 1 - on the rear flap - 2 -, when doing this the mount - 3 - must fit into the notch in the body - arrow -.






- Install the rear lid lower trim panel..

Tightening Specifications
