Fresh Air Blower (V2)

• As of 11.2007, the Comfort A/C system as an updated Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) (an updated Comfort Climatronic control module (J255) and an updated fresh air blower). Make sure to use the correct allocation for these parts with each other. Refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) ] Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) and to the Electronic Parts Catalog.

Do not grasp fan wheel of the Fresh Air Blower, force against the fan wheel or shifting the balancing weights fastened to fan wheel may cause imbalance and then problems during operation.

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove lower right instrument panel trim.

- Remove glove compartment.

- Disconnect connector - B - from fresh air blower - C -.






- Remove bolts - A -.

- Take out fresh air blower - C - downward.

Installing

- Insert fresh air blower - C - carefully into heating & A/C unit from below.

- Install the remaining removed components again in reverse order.

- Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic control module and erase any faults displayed if necessary using the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

- If necessary, perform a basic setting and output diagnostic test mode on the A/C system using the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
