Exhaust System, Installing

• Align exhaust system when cold.

- Loosen the bolts on the front clamping sleeves.

- Loosen the threaded connections on the rear clamping sleeves, if equipped.

- Press exhaust system forward - arrow - under the following tensions are adjusted on the individual retaining loops:






• Right front retaining loop: Dimension - a - = 2 mm.

• Left front retaining loop: Dimension - a - = 4 mm.






• Left and right rear retaining loops: Dimension - a - = 10 mm.






- Hold exhaust system in this position and tighten clamping sleeve bolts evenly.

• A 2nd technician is needed to align the exhaust system with clamping sleeves between center and rear mufflers.

• If all adjustment dimensions are not achieved, remove affected bracket from body and shift accordingly.

- Align the tail pipes => [ Attach the end pipe to the rear muffler and align. ] Service and Repair.
