MMI Display, Through 29 May 2009

The Front Information Display Control Head (J685) (display) is attached to the Instrument cluster trim from behind together with the instrument cluster.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the instrument cluster.

- Disengage connector cover - 2 - by pressing latch - 1 - in direction of - arrow A -.





- Swing connector cover - 2 - upward in direction of - arrow B - and disconnect harness connector.

- Remove screws - arrows - (2 Nm).





- Carefully remove the display from the trim.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Make sure connector cover is audibly engaged.
