High Pressure Pump Toothed Belt Overview
1 Front Toothed Belt Guard
• Install it at the bottom and clip it securely on the sides
2 Nut
• 70 Nm
3 Bolt
• 23 Nm
4 High Pressure Pump Toothed Belt Sprocket
• Remove with the puller (T40064).
5 Idler Roller
6 High Pressure Pump Toothed Belt
• Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt-tip marker. A reversed turning direction can cause damage to the used toothed belt.
• Check for wear
• Perform the following points before installing the toothed belt:
• Align the crankshaft Top Dead Center (TDC).
• Stop the high pressure pump toothed belt using the locking tool (T40135). (Do not allow the toothed belt to swing!).

7 Bolt
• 9 Nm
8 Rear Toothed Belt Guard
9 Toothed Belt Tensioning Roller
10 Toothed Belt Drive Sprocket
• Loosen and tighten the central bolt with the retainer (3036).
• Remove with the puller (T10320).
11 Bolt
• 75 Nm
• Use (3036) to loosen and tighten
12 Bolt
• 23 Nm

Locking Tool (T40135) for the High Pressure Pump Toothed Belt.
Removing the High Pressure Pump Toothed Belt Sprocket
- Remove the high pressure pump toothed belt with the puller (T40064).
Loosen the Toothed Belt Drive Wheel Center Bolt and then Tighten it
- Loosen and tighten the center bolt - 1 - with the retainer (3036).
Remove the Toothed Belt Drive Wheel
- Remove the toothed belt drive wheel with the puller (T10320).
