Passenger Seat Console

Removing

Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information ] Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information.

- Remove the front seat.

• Mechanically adjustable seat => [ Driver Seat Assembly Overview ] Driver Seat Assembly Overview

• Memory seat, power seat and Comfort seat, refer to => [ Driver Seat Assembly Overview ] Driver Seat Assembly Overview.

- Remove front console trim, refer to => [ Front Console Trim, Front Passenger Seat ] Front Console Trim, Front Passenger Seat.

- Remove right console trim, refer to => [ Right Console Trim, Front Passenger Seat ] Right Console Trim, Front Passenger Seat.

- Remove the drawer, refer to => [ Drawer ] Drawer.

- Remove the bolts - 1 -.






- Remove console - 2 -.

Installation

Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information ] Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• The screws are microencapsulated and must be replaced after each loosening.

• Before installing the new screws, the threads of the corresponding nuts must be cleaned.

- Position console - 2 -.






- Attach screws - 1 - in sequence - A -, - B -, - C - and - D -.

- Tighten screws - 1 - in sequence - A -, - B -, - C - and - D - to the specification, refer to => [ Bracket Assembly Overview, Front Passenger Seat with Drawer ] Bracket Assembly Overview, Front Passenger Seat With Drawer.
