Multimedia Control Head E380 Installation Frame

Removing

- Remove the selector lever transmission range position display unit (Y26).

Vehicles without CD Changer in Center Console Storage Compartment:






- Remove center console storage compartment => [ Center Console Storage Compartment ] Center Console Storage Compartment.

- Reach through the center console storage compartment opening and press Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame - 1 - upward - arrow -.

Vehicles with CD Changer in Center Console Storage Compartment:

- Grasp through selector lever boot opening and pull Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame - 1 - upward - arrow -.

All:






- Disconnect electrical connectors.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Disconnect decorative frame from Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame by carefully release clips - 1 to 4 - with a narrow screwdriver.






- Remove Multimedia Control Head (E380) - 5 - from installation frame.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Press decorative frame into locking mechanisms in Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame until it completely engages.

- Press Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame into center console locking mechanisms until it completely engages.
