Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Use to adjust the height
• Side Window Installation Tool (V.A.G 1739)
• Use to adjust laterally.

Lateral Adjustment
1 Door window
• The window regulator has adjusting screws at all attachment points and can be adjusted laterally on the B-pillar and on the C-pillar.
• Adjusting the top of the B- and C-pillars:
- Remove door trim.
- To adjust, loosen the locking nut - 3 - and turn the adjusting screw - 4 - using a TORX(R) socket wrench.
• Turn left - the door window rotates outward.
• Turn right - the door window rotates inward.
- Tighten the locking nut - 3 - after adjusting it.
• Adjusting the bottom of the B- and C-pillars:
• It is not necessary to remove the door trim panel.
- Pry the cap out at the bottom of the door.
- To adjust, loosen the locking nut - 3 - and turn the adjusting screw - 4 - using a TORX(R) socket wrench.
• Turn left - the door window rotates inward.
• Turn right - the door window rotates outward.
• Tighten the locking nut after adjusting.

Upper adjusting screw
- To adjust, loosen the locking nut - 2 - and rotate the adjusting pins - 3 - using a TORX(R) socket wrench.
- Tighten the nut to the tightening specification after adjusting it. Refer to => [ (Item 3) Nut ].
• The upper edge of the glass will move toward the inside when the adjusting screw is turned to the right.
Lower adjusting screw
- To adjust, loosen the locking nut - 2 - and turn the adjusting pins - 3 - using a TORX(R) socket wrench.
- Tighten the nut to the tightening specification after adjusting it. Refer to => [ (Item 3) Nut ].
• The upper edge of the glass will move toward the outside when the adjusting screw is turned to the right.
Adjusting Height
- Gap dimensions, refer to => [ Rear Door Window Gap Dimensions ] Rear Door Window Gap Dimensions.
1 Adjusting screw
• 1 turn corresponds to approximately 1 mm.
• For adjusting the upper edge of the door window on the seal in the front or rear roof area
• Accessible through the holes on the bottom edge of the door. The door trim does not need to be removed.
- To adjust the height, turn the adjusting screw with a 5 mm hex socket wrench

- Remove the caps from the bottom of the door.
- Insert a 5 mm hex socket wrench with ball head at an angle through the window regulator and into the adjusting screw - arrow - mount - 1 -.
- Turn the adjusting screw to adjust the height.
