Torque Converter Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pulling Hook (T20143/2)

• Oil Seal Installing Tool (T40240)

Procedure






- Remove the torque converter. Refer to => [ Torque Converter ] Torque Converter.

- Pry out the torque converter seal using the (T20143/2).

- Coat outer circumference and sealing lips of sealing ring with ATF.

• Installed position: Open side of shaft seal faces transmission.

- Install the torque converter seal using the (T40240) as far as the thrust piece - 1 -.






- Install the torque converter. Refer to => [ Torque Converter ] Torque Converter.
