Terminal 30 Wire Junction

Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removal






- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the strut tower.

- Release the retainer - arrow A - and open the cover - arrow B -.

- Disconnect the electric wires - 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 -.






- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - arrows - and remove the wire junction from the plenum chamber bulkhead.

Installation

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Tightening Specifications ] Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the strut tower.

- Connect the battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Service and Repair.
