Outer Tail Lamps

Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removal






- Turn the headlamp switch to "0".

- Remove the cover - 2 - from the tail lamp assembly - arrow A -.

- Remove screws - 3 - and - 4 -.

- Swivel the tail lamp assembly - 1 - toward the outside - arrow B - and loosen the bolt from the clip nut.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation






• Tightening specification, refer to => [ LED Outer Tail Lamps Overview ] LED Outer Tail Lamps Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Position the tail lamp assembly on the body and push the bolt into the clip nut.

- Insert the centering pin - 3 - and the tabs - 1 - on the cover into the mounts - 2 - and on the tail lamp assembly - arrows -.

- Push the cover onto the tail lamp assembly.

• The tabs must audibly engage in the tail lamp assembly.
