1 Storage compartment

• If equipped

2 Cold air vent/cover plate

• If equipped

3 Bolt

• Quantity: 2 or 3 depending on the equipment level

• Quantity: 3, with knee airbag

• 3 Nm

4 Hinge pin

• Quantity: 2

• For the glove compartment cover

5 Glove compartment

• removing and installing:

• Country-specific without knee airbag, refer to => [ Glove Compartment, Version without Knee Airbags ] Glove Compartment, Version Without Knee Airbags

• Country-specific with knee airbag, refer to => [ Glove Compartment, Version with Knee Airbags ] Glove Compartment, Version With Knee Airbags

6 Lid dampening mechanism

• For the glove compartment cover

• with Glove compartment lamp switch (E26)

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Glove Compartment Cover Brake Component ] Glove Compartment Cover Brake Component

7 Hinge pin

• For the brake component

8 Bolt

• Quantity: 3, without knee airbag

• Quantity: 5, with knee airbag

• 3 Nm

9 Right front footwell illumination bulb (L152)

• If equipped

10 Glove compartment light (W6)

11 Front Passenger Airbag -Off- Key Switch (E224)

• Not for North American market.

12 Glove compartment cover

• Activate the glove compartment cover emergency release. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment Lid Emergency Release, Operating ] Glove Compartment Lid Emergency Release, Operating

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Glove Compartment Lid ] Glove Compartment Lid

13 Glove compartment opener

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Glove Compartment Handle ] Glove Compartment Handle

• Press into the glove compartment cover until it engages audibly

• Country-specific with knee airbag: with additional threaded connection, refer to => [ Country-specific with knee airbag: glove compartment handle with additional threaded connection ]

- Tighten bolt - arrow - to 1,8 Nm.
