1 Rear Lid Lock Button (in luggage compartment) (E406)

2 Lower rear lid trim

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Lower Rear Lid Trim ] Lower Rear Lid Trim

• Press on until it engages audibly

3 Rubber buffer

• Quantity: 8

• Install in the trim

4 Clips

• Quantity: 14

• Install in the trim

• Remove clips left in the mounting points of the rear lid and use for installation in the trim

• Replace damaged or deformed clips

5 Rear lid

6 Expanding nut

• Quantity: 2

• Clip into rear lid

7 Warning triangle

8 Bolt

• Quantity: 2

• 2 Nm

9 Cover

• For the warning triangle

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Warning Triangle Cover ] Warning Triangle Cover

• Engage in the rear lid trim panel

10 Cover

• For the emergency release

• Clip into the rear lid trim panel

11 Trim

• For rear lid lock

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Rear Lid Latch Trim Panel ] Rear Lid Latch Trim Panel

• Press on until it engages audibly
