Bracket with Hinges, Non-Locking Cover

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Special Pop Rivet Pliers (V.A.G 1753A)

• Drill

• Protective eyewear

Removing






- Remove center armrest. Refer to => [ Center Armrest, Split Backrest ] Center Armrest, Split Backrest.

- Remove the backrest trim. Refer to => [ Backrest Trim ] Backrest Trim.

- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Backrest Cover.

• Place plastic film between the bench seat and backrest to protect against metal shavings.

Risk of injury!

• Wear protective eyewear.

- Drill out rivet - 3 -.

- Remove the nuts - 4 - (quantity: 2).

- Remove the bracket - 1 - from the threaded pins - 5 - and pull it out of the profile - 2 - in the direction of the - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
