Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel







Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel

Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry Lever (80 - 200)

Removing






- Versions with rear side airbag: remove the rear side airbag. Refer to => [ Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N201) and Front Passenger Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N202) ] Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N201) and Front Passenger Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N202).

- Remove the side cushion. Refer to => [ Side Upholstery ] Side Upholstery.

- Versions with fixed rear seat backrest: remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Rear Seat Backrest, Fixed ] Rear Seat Backrest, Fixed.

- Remove the luggage compartment liner. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Liner ] Luggage Compartment Liner.

- Remove the rear cross panel trim. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ] Rear Cross Panel Trim.

- Remove the tie-down. Refer to => [ Tie Downs ] Tie Downs.

- Remove the expanding clips - 1 - using (80 - 200).

- Pry off the luggage compartment side trim - 2 - using the (80 - 200) from the body - arrows -.

- Disengage the luggage compartment side trim at the hinges and remove it.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

If the trim clamps remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- Press the luggage compartment side trim until it engages audibly.

- Stretch the rear lid seal lip over the luggage compartment side trim.
