Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck

Removing






Vehicles with gasoline engine

- Remove the EVAP canister vacuum line - 1 - while pressing the release button.

• Ignore item - 2 -.

- Remove the vacuum hose on the coolant pipe.






- Remove the EVAP canister - 2 - with the line still connected out of its bracket - arrow B - while lifting the release strap - 1 - - arrow A -.

- Move the EVAP canister to the side.

Vehicles with TDI engine






- Remove the engine cover - arrows -.

- Remove the bolt - 1 -.






- Remove the bolt - 2 - and nut - 3 -.

- Remove the hose bracket - 4 - on the fuel filter and lay the fuel filter - 7 - to the side with the hoses still connected.

• If necessary remove the fuel hoses on the bracket.

• Ignore items - 5 and 6 -.

All Vehicles






- Remove bolt - 1 -.

- Remove the filler tube and filler neck - 2 - on the windshield washer fluid reservoir - 3 -.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Push the filler tube - 3 - all the way onto the windshield washer fluid reservoir - 1 -.

• The tab - 2 - must fit into the opening - 4 - on the filler tube.

Vehicles with TDI engine

- Install the fuel filter.
