Removing

- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.





- Clamp off the coolant hoses using the hose clamps up to 25 mm diameter (3094) as illustrated.






Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

When the engine is warm the cooling system is under pressure.

Reduce pressure by covering coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and carefully opening.

- Disconnect electrical connector - arrow -.

- Remove the bolts - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - and then EGR motor 2.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ EGR Vacuum Regulator solenoid Valve and EGR Potentiometer Assembly Overview ] EGR Vacuum Regulator solenoid Valve and EGR Potentiometer Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace O-ring.

- Install the noise insulation.

- Check coolant level => [ Check coolant level. ] Procedures.
