Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) Control Line






Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) Control Line

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hose Clamps Up to 25 mm Dia. (3094)

Removing

- Remove engine cover => [ Engine Cover ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the heat shield boot and then remove exhaust pressure sensor 1 - 3 -. Refer to => [ Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) ] Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450).






- Remove the nut - 3 -.






The nut - 3 - is accessible from above.

- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.






- Remove the clamp - 2 - and the bolts - 1 - and then remove the filter.






- Remove exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 (G235) - 2 - from the exhaust manifold with an open-end wrench.






- Clamp off the coolant hoses using the (3094) as illustrated.






- Remove the coolant hoses.






- Remove the nut - 3 - and the union nut - 1 - and then remove the control line.






Installing

- Installation is in reverse order of removal.

Before installing, clean the control lines leading to the particulate filter with compressed air to make sure they are not plugged or iced over with condensation water.

Check for secure fit and leaks.
