4/2-Way Valve with Thermostat

Removing

• The thermostat is inside the 4/2-way valve and cannot be replaced separately.

- Drain coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] Procedures.

- Remove the generator.





- Remove the throttle valve control module (J338).

- Remove the coolant hoses - A, B and D -.





- Remove bolt - 2 -.

- Remove bolts - 1 -.

- Remove the valve from the cylinder block and pull the connection - C - off the coolant pipe to the left.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pump and Coolant Thermostat Assembly Overview ] Coolant Pump and Coolant Thermostat Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace O-ring.

- Install throttle valve control module.

- Install the generator.
