Removing


Danger of damaging the decoupling element.

• Do not bend the coupling element more than 10°.

- Loosen the clamping sleeves - 1, 2 -, push them toward the rear and slowly lower the catalytic converters.






- Remove the bolts - 2, 3 - and nuts - 1, 5 - by bending the securing tabs up.






- Remove the heat shield - 4 - with the exhaust pipes hanging down loosely center support while pressing upward on the driveshaft center support.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Heat Shields, Crossbraces Overview ] Heat Shields, Crossbraces Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the driveshaft center support.

- Assemble the exhaust system so that there is no tension placed on it.
