Rear Seat Backrest, Separating from Upholstery

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery clip pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Separating





- Remove the cover and cushion on the rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Cover and Cushion, Rear Seat Backrest ] Cover and Cushion, Rear Seat Backrest.

- Remove the cover - 1 - from the upholstery - 2 - as far as possible.

- Cut through clips - 3 - with pliers.

- Remove cover from cushion.

Assembling

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- When installing new upholstery clips, use Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634).
