To check function, you must install entire belt system, including side trim.

Switching hold function on

• Pull belt webbing out completely up to stop.

Correct function

• Belt must retract with a chattering sound.

• If retracting process is stopped, belt cannot be pulled out anymore.

Deactivating

• Belt retraction to about 4 inches (100 mm) remaining.

• The hold function must switch off when there is at least 4 inches (100 mm) remaining. The belt will function normally again.
