Glove Compartment Cover

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• 4 mm Cotter Pin Driver

Removing






- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] Glove Compartment.

- Remove hinge pins - 1 - from cover dampening mechanism - 2 -.

• Ignore - arrow -.

- Remove the glove compartment unlock motor (V327). Refer to => [ Glove Compartment Unlock Motor (V327) ] Glove Compartment Unlock Motor (V327).

- Lay the glove compartment with the top side on a soft surface.






- Remove the left and right hinge pins - 3 - using a 4 mm cotter pin driver - 1 - - arrow -.

- Note compensation disc on right side - 2 -.

- Open the glove compartment cover by pulling the control cable.

- Remove the glove compartment cover and lead the control cable out of the glove compartment.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Pay attention to compensating disk - 2 - when inserting the right hinge pin.

- Adjust the glove compartment cover control cable. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment Cover Control Cable, Adjusting ] Glove Compartment Cover Control Cable, Adjusting.
