Left Rear Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hose Clip Pliers (VAS 6362)

Removing

- Remove the left intermediate pipe. Refer to => [ Left Intermediate Pipe ] Left Intermediate Pipe.

- Remove Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler switch-over valve 2 (N381) - 3 -.






- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the left rear coolant pipe from the coolant hoses by loosening the hose clamps - 1 - and - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Coolant Pipes Overview.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Install the left intermediate pipe. Refer to => [ Left Intermediate Pipe ] Left Intermediate Pipe.

- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Procedures.
