Torque Converter Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pulling Hook (T20143/2)

• Thrust Piece (T40240)

Procedure

- Remove the torque converter. Refer to => [ Torque Converter ] Torque Converter.

- Pry out the torque converter seal using the (T20143/2).





- Coat outer circumference and sealing lips of sealing ring with ATF.

• Installed position: Open side of shaft seal faces transmission.

- Using (T40240) - 1 -, drive in torque converter shaft seal as far as stop.
