Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove front interior/reading light. Refer to => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp.

- Remove the anti-theft alarm system sensor (G578) if applicable. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor (G578) ] Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor (G578).

- Release the retaining clips - arrows - and remove garage door opener control head - 1 - from the front interior/reading light - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install front interior/reading light. Refer to => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp.
