Rear Backrest

• The split rear seat backrest cannot be removed or installed separately.

Removing






Do not load the rear seat backrest when it is folded down.

- Fold the front seat backrest forward as far as possible.

- Move the front seats forward as far as possible.

- Remove seat bench. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Remove the rear belt latch. Refer to => [ Rear Belt Latch ] Rear Belt Latch.

- Remove the side padding. Refer to => [ Side upholstery ] Side upholstery.

- Remove the front luggage compartment floor covering. Refer to => [ Front Luggage Compartment Covering ] Front Luggage Compartment Covering.

- Unlock the left and right rear seat backrest and fold them forward.

- Remove the screws - 1 - and - 2 - on the rear seat backrest frame.

- Disengage the rear seat backrest frame off the threaded pin and remove the rear seat backrest - 3 - from the vehicle.

Installation


Do not load the rear seat backrest when it is folded down.

- Mount the rear seat backrest frame on the threaded pin and tighten the screws hand-tight.

- Fold the left and right rear seat backrests back up and lock them.

- Tighten the bolts - 1 -.

- Install the rear belt latch. Refer to => [ Rear Belt Latch ] Rear Belt Latch.

- Unlock the left and right rear seat backrest and fold them forward.

- Tighten bolt - 2 -.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
