EGR Cooler Pump
Removing
- Carefully pull the engine cover - arrows - off the 4 bolts one after the other.
- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] Procedures.
- Disconnect the connector - 2 -.
- Remove the bolts - 1 -.
- Remove the coolant hoses, to do this, loosen the hose clamps - arrows -.
- Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler pump (V400) with the engine lifting eye.
- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the EGR cooler pump from the engine lift eyelet.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Pump (V400) Overview ] Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Pump (V400) Overview.
• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model, refer to the Parts Catalog.
- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Procedures.
