Hose Connections with Connector Couplings, Assembling


The seal could be damaged if the securing clip is in the locked position during installation. A damaged seal can leak.

• Follow the assembly instructions.

Removing

- Release connector coupling by pulling locking clip - arrow -. Separate the air ducts without using tools.






Installing

- If the seal is replaced, place it in the groove on the air guide hose.

• The seal must sit in the groove all the way around and must not be twisted.

- Lubricate the sealing surfaces and the seal.

- Bring the securing clip into the release position - 1 -.






- Slide the air duct into the connector as far as the stop.

- Bring the securing clip into the locked position - 2 - and press the air duct back.

- Pull on the air duct to make sure the connector is seated and locked correctly.
