1 - Fluid Pan

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Pan ] 02EA (S-Tronic) Transmission

2 - Bolt

• Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ Oil Pan - Tightening Specification and Sequence ]

• Quantity: 5

• Replace

3 - Gasket

• Replace

4 - Bolt

• Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ - Tightening Specification and Sequence ]

• Quantity: 10

• Replace

5 - Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Transmission Mechatronic (J743)

• With O-rings on connector

• Replace O-rings

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Transmission Mechatronic (J743) ] Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Transmission Mechatronic (J743)

6 - Ventilation Pipe

• Pressed into transmission

• Replace after removal

7 - Bleed Cap

• Placed on bled pipe

15 - Transmission Oil Pump

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission Oil Pump ] 02EA (S-Tronic) Transmission

• Insert with new seal

16 - Bolt

• Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ Transmission Oil Pump - Tightening Specification and Sequence ]

• Replace

• Quantity: 4

• Different bolts depending on version

17 - Transmission Oil Pump Cover

• With seal

• Replace

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Transmission Oil Pump ] 02EA (S-Tronic) Transmission

18 - Bolt

• Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ Transmission Oil Pump Cover - Tightening Specification and Sequence ]

• Replace

• Quantity: 4

24 - Guard Plate

• Depends on version

25 - Bolt

• 32 Nm

• Quantity: 4

Oil Pan - Tightening Specification and Sequence





- Tighten the bolts - arrows - diagonally in steps to 16 Nm.

Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Transmission Mechatronic (J743) - Tightening Specification and Sequence





- Tighten the bolts in 2 steps in the following sequence: - 1 through 10 -:






Transmission Oil Pump - Tightening Specification and Sequence





- Tighten bolts - arrows - in a diagonal sequence (different bolts depending on version):

Countersunk Bolts - A -:

- Tighten countersunk bolts to 8 Nm.

Flat Head Bolts - B -:

- Tighten flat head bolts in 2 stages as follows:






Transmission Oil Pump Cover - A - - Tightening Specification and Sequence





- Tighten the bolts - arrows - diagonally in steps to 8 Nm.

Transmission Input Speed Sensor (G182) and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor (G509)
