Selector Lever Position "P" Locking Lever

• Lubricate the bearings and the sliding surfaces with poly lubricant (G 052 142 A2).

Removing





- Remove the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever ] Selector Lever.

- Pry out both the left and right bushings - 2 - with a screwdriver.

- Remove the selector lever position "P" locking lever.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

- Insert the locking lever and secure it with both left and right bushings - 2 -.

- Check the emergency relase lever function.





• The emergency release lever - arrow - must move easily and can be moved up and down.

• If it is difficult to move the emergency release lever - arrow - the bushings are installed incorrectly.

• If the emergency release lever is difficult to move, the ignition key removal lock does not work.

- Install the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever ] Selector Lever.
