Light Weight Wheel Hub Washer

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Assembly Tool (T40089/1)

• Press Piece (VW 473)

• Thrust Plate (VW 401)

Washer, replacing

- Carefully pry off washer - 1 -, e.g. with a screwdriver.





- Position washer on wheel hub.

- Install special tools as shown in illustration.

2. Assembly Tool (T40089/1)

3. Washer

4. Wheel hub

5. Thrust Plate (VW 401)

- Press washer off using Assembly Tool (T40089/1 ) as shown in illustration up to wheel bearing hub radius.

• Washer must be pressed on up to wheel bearing hub radius.
