Checking Rear Final Drive Gear Oil Level

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip tray (VAG1306)

- Place drip tray (VAG1306) underneath.

- Remove the inspection plug - 1 -.





The oil level is correct when rear final drive is filled to lower edge of the hole.

- Top off with gear oil, if necessary:

- Install the inspection plug.
