Over-Center Spring

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Assembly Clamp (T40025)

Removing

- Remove storage compartment on driver side.

- Secure over-center spring with clutch pedal while pressing on Assembly Clamp (T40025).





- Bring clutch pedal into rest position while removing over-center spring together with Assembly Clamp (T40025) downward.

Installing





- Pull clutch pedal into passenger compartment.

• Over-center spring installation location: Black side of over-center spring faces toward clutch pedal.

- Insert over-center spring with Assembly Clamp ( T40025), depress clutch pedal and remove assembly clamp.
